Master and Coaches
To maintain a professional and well-organized competition environment, the Northwest Invitational uses a credential badge system for Masters and Coaches. These credentials ensure clear mat-side authority, athlete safety, and proper conduct throughout the event.
Masters Credentials
Masters Badges are separate from Coaching Badges.
A Masters Badge is reserved for Master Instructors and School Owners.

Any Master Instructor or School Owner who registers at least one competing student will receive one complimentary Masters Badge.

Masters Badges grant access to designated Masters and coaching areas.

Masters Badges are issued during check-in and must be worn at all times.
This policy is intended to honor Masters who actively support their students and contribute to the competitive spirit of the event.
Coaches Credentials
Free coaching credentials are issued based on the number of competitors registered per academy to ensure adequate coaching coverage while maintaining order and fairness on the floor. Coaches must register!
Coach Badge Allocation:

1–7 competitors: 1 Coach Badge

8–14 competitors: 2 Coach Badges

15–21 competitors: 3 Coach Badges ect.

Additional badges are allocated for every additional group of 7 competitors.

Coach Badges provide mat-side coaching and holding area access.

Coaches must remain in designated coaching areas and follow all event conduct policies.
Unregistered Coach Badges may be purchased for $20 each, subject to availability and limitations.
